Moncler Lunettes Showcase

For the Salmoiraghi & Viganò flagships in Milan (Piazza San Babila and Cordusio), later replicated in Turin and Rome, we created an impactful installation inspired by polar landscapes. A stimulating project for variety of materials, dimensions and decorative techniques.

At the entrance, twin display structures evoke carved blocks of frozen snow, with backlit logo and perimeter LED strip. The interior backwall echoes the snow effect, made of a single block of carved polystyrene, with no visible joints but access to wiring. The product is displayed on a Plexiglas top with dedicated lighting, accompanied by a bright embossed logo and two oval tilting mirrors.

For the main showcase, the product stands out on a wall with a “fresh snow” effect, achieved by special handcrafted flocking, topped by the illuminated logo and framed by a Plexiglas front with snow effect printing. Grazing perimeter lighting was designed to avoid unwanted shadows or reflections.

The choice of polished stainless steel for the eyeglass holders and other details, combined with careful technical design, made it possible to achieve a scenic effect in line with the client’s expectations, recreating an authentic “polar atmosphere” in the heart of the city.
