Interior design of MASA restaurant – Modena

Entering MASA restaurant in Modena means immersing yourself in a refined contemporary oriental atmosphere, where tradition meets modern design. For this project, we took care of every detail of the layout, creating custom-made furniture capable of creating a unique and welcoming experience.

Dominating the scene are suspended gold galvanized metal wine racks, custom-made as real light sculptures above the bar. On the floor, on the other hand, elegant partitions in the same finish define the space with light but decisive geometries, creating a refined and scenic visual effect.

The venue’s sign, also made of gold galvanized metal, features the MASA logo in backlit opal plexiglass, the hallmark of a style that has been carefully crafted in every detail.

To evoke the atmosphere of traditional Japanese interiors, the walls have been reinterpreted with a technological and modern touch: large backlit lightboxes coupled with opal plexiglass panels and a black painted wood grid restore the effect of the classic shoji, the rice paper walls typical of oriental architecture.

The result is an enveloping, elegant and scenic environment where every detail contributes to a sensory journey beyond taste.
